If you are strapped for cash, you can purchase an excellent card for $60 – $150, but your card is likely to become outdated much sooner than three years from now.

Now the process is simple. Examine a reputable benchmark chart. Determine which GPU within your budget is benchmarking highest in the game you want to play. Then it is just a matter of determining which video card manufacturer has the best combination of reputation and price.
